The story behind their love is, my aunt was serving her LDS mission on the Island of Chuuk (Federal States of Micronesia). My uncle had seen her around the island several times through out her time in Chuuk. The day before my aunt was leaving back to her country Tonga, my uncle asked her if she would marry him. Taking it as a joke, my aunt said yes. The next day when she was set and ready to leave back to Tonga, my grandmother and uncle were at the airport waiting on her to take her to her wedding. As my aunt took everything as a joke, she remembered that in our Chuukese culture, when someone asks for marriage, they take it seriously. In respect for my grandmother, my aunt agreed to marry my uncle.

My uncle and aunt have been married for 20+ years now and have 5 kids. Now THAT right there is what I call Amazing True Love. <3
